Actually it was an assignment that we had to do where based on an existing dinosaur we incorporate and create an original dinosaur creature and its not like smashing a bunch of animal parts together. It was based on the Masiakasaurus. So was the bird creature too, though technically hornbill based, but thank you! * V *b

Some really good stuff in this thread!
I don't have any scans of my sketches right now, but here are some things I've been working on with my tablet.





The second one is really rough right now as I'm not done with it yet. I'm using Paint Tool Sai and, as you can probably tell, I'm not so good at coloring. lol

I love using Sai too~! its much easier to do it on *nods nods* and another thing i SUCK at cellshading for my life XD so its ok 8D;;;; Like i can't color by blocking the shapes etc D: i like mine more painterly type.

Thanks, ChanOng! Yeah, I like Sai a lot better than Photoshop for drawing. The lines come out much cleaner in Sai. Plus, after Photoshop CS3, my tablet stopped working in Photoshop.

You can't cell shade? I can't shade realistically. XD I'm trying to shade properly with pencil now, but I can tell it's gonna take a while til I get it right. // lol
