I would -love- to hear that she's cares about her English fans enough to visit forums to see what we talk about and think of her works.. but I doubt that she has the time or the mind frame to do that.
We're like what, 2% of her fanbase at best? Maybe people have heard her music and maybe like it in the western world, but only we, 'hardcore' fans bother to buy her obscure stuff on the Internet and support her. We're a niche within a niche. "Utada-chan cares! Kyaaaa!" I'm not quite so wishful. ^_- |

I hope she does.
You can never be sure weather she does or doesn't. And I don't see what difference it makes if this is an English site. She better visit!!! |

I have to imagine she'd check out her own fansites from time to time, if for no reason other than curiosity. Or vanity.

No way!
Between making songs, getting drunk, hangin' out with Kuma-chang, reading emails and her blog - do you honestly think that she'd find the time to visit + read an ENGLISH fan site? I remember on that radio snippet that I found on Youtube taped from her Exodus era - she had no idea that she had a fanbase in North America. Her heart's in Japan.. if she did such a thing, she'd probably read up on a few BBS's there. But I doubt that, too. |
