we can even get student prices at 4 bucks, LOL

JJ where did you go to? nowadays Singapore don't have 7 bucks movies on weekends... all are about $10

I still enjoy going to the theatre to watch a movie, I like to relax with my coffee and watch a film on the big screen. I don't go as often as I used to because the price is rediculously high these days, I usually sneak sweets in from the shop outside to reduce cost. Sometimes if you go early or the film has subtitles it is cheaper, I often go to enjoy my asian horror in the morning.

My next viewing might be The Mummy 3. I know it hasn't been well received but with Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh how can I refuse?

The prices in the uk where i live are about ?6.50 (USD $13) but are a LOT more in london.

I honestly think the mummy should have ended with it's first movie...I really think the rest are a bunch of crap, on the previews for the third they said "mummy" like 10 times and I just found it irritating and lame

but that's my opinion

prices where im at go for about $8 or $9....and with my university ID i get it for about $6.50...still kinda high i say...back then it was $7 a ticket...i missed those days and i still didnt go very often...and here...there is no price cuts during the weekends..if anything theyre higher since thats when most students have the free time to get out and go watch movies...there's regular screening and there's imax...which goes for about $13 a ticket..pointless id say...youre assigned a seat and whats the point for the whole HD concept during movies...does it really matter if you see the sweat dripping down from the person's neck during a standoff or how ripped a guy is due to all the muscle he may have...its not gonna be the talk of the show...so why do it in the first place?

and soilman!!! lol..i heard that it tomb of the dragon emperor wasnt so good...theyre mixing too different things together....you get a martial arts genius and you stick him in a movie involving excavations to egpyt? not quite my type of movie...sorry kung fu and spear throwing right next to the pyramids just doesnt cut it for me...and i apologize if i ruin your will to go and see it..

Dark knight was so awesome! the joker that heath ledger created is phenomenal! a mass murdering psychopath with zero empathy!

and kung fu panda was also great. all the characters are memorable.
