Hello everyone! I'm definitely not new here, but came back to revisit just recently because of Hikki's release of Sakura Nagashi. It's been a while.

My name is Kevin, and I'm currently a university student in Canada, and of course, a huge fan of Hikki's. I can vaguely remember when I first heard of Hikki. I think for many people, it was because of Kingdom Hearts. My older brother and sister would play "Simple and Clean" on repeat in the house back in the day when I was around 11-12 because they loved the game so much.

However, I didn't become addicted to her until a couple years after, when I heard Sakura Drops. Then all hell broke loose, and I started to listen to all of her records. Top to bottom, with Deep River still being my favourite all-round record of her's. Transitioning to high school, Hikki was really all I listened to on the daily, keeping up with her news as well. I've bought all her albums that were available in Canada, and I also recall winning some sort of button that says "Utada Hikaru Fanboy" on this site over a fun little Tetris competition. I also purposely bought myself a DS with Tetris because of her.

Those were good times. For a period of time, I somewhat stopped listening to Hikki; mainly during her period on hiatus, until recently. I started listen back to her older songs, and was met with a extremely pleasant surprise two weeks ago when she released "Sakura Nagashi". Oh the timing...

But anyway, I apologize for the long story. Aside from being a university student, I also enjoy singing and songwriting, with Hikki being one of my major influences on my work. I'm not new. I had another account here awhile ago, I just can't remember my username or password lol.. And I haven't had stable internet access until recently.

Anywho, I'm Jamie! I'm 27 (I'll be 28 Jan. 30). I have a 4 year old little girl who'll be 5 January 4th. She's amazing! And gorgeous XD

I've been listening to Hikaru since like '01/02 though it was Suzuki Ami I discovered first in '99 - there was a snippet of her in Playstation Magazine and I found one of her cds in Tower Records.

I also listen to K-Pop, J-Rock (I'm in love with Dir en Grey), Spanish music (reggaeton, duranguense, cumbia, bachata, etc), and almost everything in English, though old-skool/underground rap is my fav (Brotha Lynch, South Park Mexican, Tupac, etc).

Mmmm let's see. Right now I'm living in a tiny town in NE Texas and it blows. My dad talked me into moving out here from Nashville, TN to help them with money for awhile and get them situated into retirement (My dad's basically been having a 6 month melt down and yeah). It's a long story. I never thought I'd say I miss Nashville 'cuz I got tired of it, but yeap. I miss Nashville. I'm ready to go back.
