meh.. poetry isnt really my thing but i suppose i shall post a few of mine...

Dreaming?
Sweetly smiling,
A loving dream,
Kiss you softly,
Hold me, please?

A love that's like a lie,
Noblely spoken,
An "I love you"
I whisper softly,
Dreams that won't come true
May I be with you?

Words that linger with me,

Despite the company of your words,

Personal Bane
Crawling into bed when you arrive home from school,
You don't wake til late in the afternoon.
And it all comes rushing back to you,
As you stare at the ceiling, not knowing what to do.
Wishing for someone to hold you close,
You break a little more as you take another dose,
Wanting to escape the pain.

Drown in sorrow,
Break down in silence,
Without your friends to stand beside you,
The battle you once dominated, you now begin to lose.

When all you have is slipping away,
There's no way you can stay.
But is it really worth it?
Leaving all you've known for two that you do not.
Are they even worth giving it a shot?

You smile at such a silly thought.
Of course they are, they're all you've got.

Fade Away

Let me sleep forever
Because the morning sun brings nothing but dread
A sliver of light licks my face
And I am reminded of these
My obligations and expectations
Made with sickening absurdity
By incomprehensible people

The colors of my world has faded away
There is no taste, zeal or life
In its stead is internal torment

My life?s structure has rotten away
Into sand, ash and dust

My only solace is my slumber
And the hope that I don?t wake up

THE TANGO

?a dance of passion.
fire colors my existence
heat igniting surrealist tendencies

i long to join

trying to understand the Antarctic nature of your personality warms me
the machines run not out of passions steam, but the will to power


the ash-like response to my emotion is sufficient to quench the oceans of my desire
like a rose of soft pedals that bloomed on a deceivingly warm winter day

Enter the Labyrinth

Turning away in shame,
You hate the sound of your own name
As it rings through these hallowed halls.
Time and again, I start after you only to trip and fall.
I call out to you as you run past the entrance,
Entering the labyrinth, being consumed by darkness with no resistance.
Rushing to my feet, I take the only possible course of action,
As I grit my teeth and pursue you with a passion.


Following you into the maze,
I can barely see you in the misty haze,
As you run from one corridor to another,
The darkness grows deeper, and I soon discover,
Within these walls, my fears come alive.
They begin to sufficate me, bringing tears to my eyes.
Choking on this black mist, I can no longer see you infront of me.
But I stumble on, letting my heart blindly lead.


As the darkness begins raining down, I know it is too late.
Glancing up ahead, I see a light and you, waiting for me at Hell's gate.
Reaching you in my last strides, I stare silently at my tear streaked face,
And can't help but wonder why I led myself to such a solemn fate.

Forever Dreaming of You

Stars dance in the moonlight,
As I lay awake at dead of night.
Somewhere between this mortal plain
And the realm of dreams,
I thought I heard your voice.
Are you here with me?
Or will you forever be a phantom of my fantasies,
Haunting my mind with forgotten memories,
And teasing my heart with things that will never be.

It's scary to think that these crushing feelings have become Automatic
So I guess this Distance is something to Celebrate

I've become irritated with people's cliched responses

No, Traveling isn't that bad
Of course my Wings will surely grow tired

When my world begins to feel like a pathetic Parody
And I've become frusturated with looking for my Heart Station
I'll always understand that When Someone's Wish Comes True

So I'm going to burn your Letters
And wonder if this is my Final Distance
And hopefully someone will accept my Colors and become my Passion
Not just turn into a case of One Night Magic
So I can finally say This Is Love...
