27,213 sales for the first day (according oricon)
not bad at all! If you consider that most stuff get released on wendsdays (i think)

well, I think yes... It is a good sign, but I fear that she wouldn't be able to claim the #1 spot in weekly countdown since RADWIMPS has already garnerned 177,709 copies sold (since 3/13), while Remioromen sold 120,840 (since 3/13) and Aqua Timez sold 37,822 copies (since 3/12).

I really hope that for the remaining 3 days, she would sold more than 50,000 to beat those 3. hehehe :p

Wow that's awesome... considering that it's an english album... Are there japanese translations for the songs? Otherwise everyone there will have to learn some more english...

That's great news. But only 27,000+ copies? I guess it's because this is an English album and people rather download these days. I hope she at least gets more than 200,000 for the opening week.

3/14/09: This Is The One ranked #2: 27, 364 copies...hope it would double or triple tomorrow so that she would still claim the #1 spot on the weekly countdown.

There is no way Hikki will get first T0T
There was virtually no promotion in Japan
and I've heard that many people weren't even aware of this album...It's really sad but was somewhat expected I guess

I'm expecting maybe 80,000 sale for this week...
and about the same next week???
being an english album...so hard to guess the sales for this album but I'm sure this will be her lowest selling album, even less than Precious, unless this album become monster long-run album and seels 10X its first week sale
