I think flirting is influenced more by the individual than by gender. I mean, it's not like guys have some code flirting words- at least none that I've heard. I don't usually flirt through vocabulary anyway. I focus on body language. People can say things and make them sound convincing, but it's their eyes and countenance that really tell me what they're thinking. I'm a physical communicator myself.
But, basically, it just depends on the guy. Some guys use cheesy pick-up lines, some guys are smooth, some guys are appealing in that they don't say anything. As a guy who's attracted to both genders, I find that it's not really important what sex you are: that's not really going to influence the impression a person makes on me. It's a person's demeanor, how they carry themselves, what purpose their physical composure emanates, that tells me what I want to know. And that's all about the individual person, be they male or female. So, in my opinion, there's no gender-based categorization for romantic tendencies. :3
