I'd say I love ULTRA BLUE, but then again I also love EXODUS. DEEP RIVER is very good, too and so is DISTANCE... GAH!
Too hard... I'll say either ULTRA BLUE or EXODUS....

this might sound crazy, but after thinking about this long and hard i'm going to have to say:

exodus.

i don't like every track on any of utada's cds but if i just put a cd on instead of listening to mp3's i'd want exodus.

I'd have to say Ultra Blue, to me that was the highlight of her career...Every song on the album is just so amazing...

In my opinion i should be this order...

1. Deep River (I lurve Sakura drops, traveling, & Final Distance!)
2. Distance (I lurve Parody, Distance, Wait and see, For You and Time Limit.)
3. Ultra Blue (I Lurve Be my Last, Keep Trying, and Colors)
4. Exodus (I lurve Kremlin Dusk, You make me want to be a man, and Tippy Toe.)
5. This is The One (I lurve FYI, Apple and Cinnamon, On & On)
6. Precious ( I lurve I dont Love you, Ticket for Two, Little Lover Boy.)
7. First Love (I lurve First Love, Movin on without you, Amai Wana.)
8. Heart Station (I lurve Prisoner of Love, Fight the Blues, Take 5, and Flavor of Life.)

I want to say Ultra blue....it's really just "Deep River 2" for me :/ I don't even listen to to Ultra blue that much.

This is love - Got hard to listen to like "Can You Keep a Secret?"

Keep Tryin' - Is really drawn out for me and ironically my favorite part of the song is the last 40 secs.

Blue - I actually really like this song but can't listen to it over and over like I can Letters,Uso mitai na I LOVE YOU and Traveling.

nichiyoubi no asa - Another song I really like but just can't listen to that much

Making Love - This song was my 2nd favorite at one point.Just forgot about it.

DNNGKK - My favorite ballad besides Deep River,timeless 1000 out of 10

COLORS - Perfection....but from 2003!!!!

One Night Magic - My Favorite song of this album,but again can't listen to it over and over.

kairo - I actually throw this in with a little Akino Arai often.

Be my last - forgot about it but I have no problem listen to it tons of times.

Eclispe - Forgot what it even sounded like...

Passion - RAPED THIS SONG and still do.Has to have 200+ listens.

The early half of the album is like the first 3 hrs in a cramped car...you need to sit with it until you get used to it.


Deep River has to get my vote.

ULTRA BLUE for me too. It's extremely rare for me to like more than 4 songs off of an album, but I have all songs from ULTRA BLUE on my iPod except for one.

ULTRA BLUE. To me, it's her at her peak. Now if she can come up with an English release equivalent to that, yeah, I'd die happy.

in order...ultra blue, heart station, distance, deep river, first love...although this is the one is really catching up...

however, critics says that deep river is her best album so far, saying that it has the right mix of music, different genres are combined in one album (rock: uso mitai na i love you, rnb: asap, play ball, ballad: final distance, hikari, dance: traveling)...i could agree but ultra blue showed us how different she is...=P

1. This Is The One, simple and enjoyable, perfect album length (I usually get bored in the middle when listening to her previous album), every single track really make a good composition as an album.
2. ULTRA BLUE, this is her most artistic album, no doubt. She proved to the world that she's a musician with this album. But this album doesn't as enjoyable as her latest one.
3. Exodus. Very original and experimental. A creative side of her is in this album.
4. DEEP RIVER. Lyrically brilliant. Musically very good, but tracks like SAKURA Drops and traveling is too long and filled with adlibbings on a repeated line.
5. Distance. Her most professionally produced album. She had a lot of people behind her, so she can focused in songwriting, composing, and ofcourse singing. Sunglasses and Kotoba ni Naranai Kimochi is amazing.
6. HEART STATION. HEART STATION got the point of ULTRA BLUE and DEEP RIVER. The tracklist is very good. But it's very moody. You (or at least, I) will need the right mood to listen. For example, I prefer to skip Flavor Of Life when I was happy.
7. First Love. Ummm.. I don't really listen to this album
8. Precious. I don't even heard anything from this album yet =_="
