I agree with what you guys said about the (Western) media blowing everything out of proportion. So far, the swine flu's mortality rate is friggin' low and the only reason why it's called a pandemic is because the speed of its spread from human to human. It's highly likely you'll get it in the future, but unlikely that you'll die from it. Unlike SARS, which was pretty scary a few years back, for Asia especially.

Latest reports from BBC indicate the severity of swine flu dying down in Mexico but the WHO chief Margaret Chan's warning everyone against complacency. It's apparently spreading quickly across the US however. Even though everything's kinda exaggerated, I do hope no one here or anywhere else gets it; being sick is no fun.

Ughhh, I just got super sick a few days ago... I have a nasty mucus-cough and it sometimes hurts to breathe!! o__o Please don't be swine flu! I'm too young to die! XD

Lol jk. I'm pretty sure it's not swine flu. But I hate being sick! D':

well I'm not scared of dying of it, because I prolly won't if I would get it.

I am however bothered by it. Thinking that this might cause borders to close, and then I won't be able to go to Spain in two weeks from now :/ that would sure suck. >.<

You gonna visit Spain Ayehunny , school program or vacation ?

Latest thing that i know about this H1N1 virus that 1241 people suspected in 21 Country. Which country i don't know.

ah, yes :) I'm going there with 4 friends of mine on vacation, 1 week :). we're gonna visit our friend who're studying in Spain as an exhange student, that's why we're going ^___^ gonna live in Benidorm but go elsewhere during the days, and then go back to party in Benidorm. xP My friend is living in Alcoy, a town situated quite near Alicante.

Something that's kinda ironic is that supposedly the first man who got swine flu in Spain lived in Alcoy. He and his family is now in Alicante for check ups :p

I doubt that I will even shake hands with anyone while being there.... xP

From WHO 2500 cases suspected H1N1 virus in 25 countries, 50 person died. 1 suspected H1N1 virus found in my country
