My Dad speaks Japanese fluently, and he makes sure everybody know it!
My Mother Japanese sound soft, sensual, almost a whisper! My Father on the other hand sounds like a serious case of bronchitis, and wind, mixed with self righteousness!! My brother Ricky and I are pretty shameful, both Japanese language wooden tops. Not a word, not a sentence, not a line, not a clue. Ironic really all the Family say the same ?this could only happen in England? lol. I am not a good daughter where cultural matters are concerned and my family in Japan are so tolerant, I am just going to have to try harder. Oh buy the way a Bruce Springsteen fan and his ?chick? on there way to Glastonbury 2009 |

Hiragana , Katakana, Kanji, they could be either Cities, food or a nasty skin rash if you had not told me, ? She can look so beautiful till she opens her mouth?, that is what the senior members of my family say lol. And still smiling politely .
When Sonny and Cher get back from Jurassic Park (Glastonbury 2009), Yes my Mum and Dad have actually adopted names, it not a joke, and we are talking Camper Vans and Cryogenics, some of the stars on the line up only play the harp now, it musical fossils all the way. They are throwing ?Hey Man? everyway. And their friends, are visiting this evening for a 3 hours bombardment of air guitar hell on the family Wii to get in the Glastonbury 2009 spirit, they don?t even take drugs. So there is no excuse for this behaviour! Anyways it family holiday time in Tokyo on there return, and I will have to make a sincere effort and some plea for mercy, people are going to be very disappointed, Sis has been writing to them on my behalf, they think I am progressing well. I just don?t know how I am going to talk my way out of this, they are hardly going to undertand for a start. |

If this is not translated by next week I will ask my sister, she will be back from camp next week, I can?t promise and I will owe her big time but she will never pass Math without my help.
The whole family is strictly under orders not to help me with Japanese translation, my Japanese friends will just glance and go shame on you for not learning, I get a lectures on culture abuse, my Mum could have this done in minutes, if I could only corner her away from Dad, the main driving force behind all this, the way he goes on about it you would think he was related to the Emperor.. somehow. |
