Technically, through Kingdom Hearts. However, the first song I heard that I consciously knew was by Utada Hikaru was "Uso Mitai na I Love You".

Since I don't remember when.

Her performance of "Be My Last" at Utada United 2006.

Happy. Maybe taking a break from music and raising a kid or something nice like that.

As unrealistic as it is, I'd love for her to get a guest starring role on "Weeds", since that's pretty much my favorite show right now. Just seeing her appear for one episode would be magical.

I guess it would be nice to hear her and Akeboshi work on something together. For American artists, I definitely think she should get together with either Amanda Palmer or Rob Thomas. The latter would be more likely musically speaking, but I think Amanda and Utada would actually hit it off pretty well and become friends. It'd also be cool to hear her working with Imogen Heap.

I suppose it would depend on what we wanted to do. Generally speaking, parks and outdoor areas are nice.

Her songwriting, both lyrically and musically. I also like that she's an intellectual artist before anything else. She has integrity and she doesn't sell out to the mainstream: everything she does is on her own terms. :3
