U.BLOG is not the definite source for Utada news. Their has been many times news of Hikki appearing in forums way before U.blog ever gets it.

Ohh! Ghostdog why ?
I don?t care if you post on U Blog or not. All the time and commitment you have devoted to Hikki and Utadanet and you are now going to turn your back because a few members decide to have a ?Ghostdog beard pulling? contest, the very same members that on many occasions shown genuine appreciation , respect, all quite righty deserved. You are not just snubbing Utadanet, but the whole community that is Utadanet, all your friends that have posted asking you to reconsider would not have bothered if they did not care enough for your opinion, and respect your sources. I know ?how dare a snotty 18 year old lecture me?? ???. I am very upset you won?t rise above a little ?banter??? and that?s all this is ?banter? nothing personal about that and no reason to say goodbye. The Hawaii gig, and Ghostdog these photos posted are the only indication that this Gig took place so if you had not posted, the chances are, a long time would have pasted before their existence would have been known to Utadanet?? So your opinion on any reason as to why U3, Universal, or Hikki declined to made public announcement from your unique perspective would be a start and highly appreciated? So say you will reconsider, please !  |

According to a friend of mine who was able to go...
It was a very small / exclusive meet and greet for Da Bomb 102.7 listeners. They got to ask her a few questions. One of which was "Will you be doing a concert for your U.S. fans?" she responded with "I'm considering it." She said her American fans are a lot crazier than her Japanese fans. Nothing was said about future promotions / her next single though. :( |

There is clearly no visual TITO promotion in any of the photos, surely this is evidence enough of the exclusive nature of this event for Da Bomb fans. Did your friend indicate if this event was invitation only? Hikki?s response to touring the US is a vague, even nonchalant. As time passes the options to tour become distinctly unlikely, tour requires promoters and new material needs to be fresh in fans memories , for this to happen Hikki needs to return to the US and increase her media profile substantially, Hikki?s overall reluctance to do this, the overt behaviour towards publicity could be detrimental to any future TITO revival. I will be keeping an open mind to any future second single release, if it happens, it happens, but a second single will require Hikki?s unflinching support, with PV and Hikki?s commitment to make primetime media appearances. This commitment is not in Hikki?s uppermost thoughts or apparent in any current TITO schedule. Until there is equivalence of interest , between all parties concerned , U3 , IDF etc, ???.it?s anyone?s guess what will be the possible eventuality ? |
