Bakemonogatari is awesome. I'm watching it and so far, it ranks at the top of my list. Highly recommended. Watch out for delicious dialogue (it's full of that) and psychedelic visuals that will boggle your mind.

Newer anime... hmmmm. Have you tried Canaan? Or Eden of the East?


Canaan did seem to suit my interest but I'll try it.I haven't heard much about EoTE so I overlooked it.

oh man tough question although I havent watched anyting new in a while this is my top 10 list
1. Code Geass
2. Clannad
3. Elfen Lied (viewer discretion is advised)
4. Samurai Champloo
5. Death Note
6. Bakemonogatari
7. Cowboy Bebob
9. Eden of the East (I still need to watch the movies)
8. Claymore
10. Nodame Cantabile

I got a couple more but these were amazing to me.

I agree with the others Casshern sins is awesome! The movie is also amazing. A new anime called Soul Eater is good too
