First Love was the very first song I heard from her, but I got hooked listening to Automatic and Traveling.

hmmm for me its hard to say...The first song I ever heard of hers was "Simple and Clean" ...That sparked my interest in her especially because that was my fav video game..but the song that made me actually consider myself a fan was "Final Distance"...I remember hearing that song and being so taken and moved by it....And this was back before I could understand Japanese!

For me I was visiting Japan in 2000 and just bought the #1 and #2 CD's at the time (Hikaru and Ayumi). Distance and Addicted to you were the songs that bit me.
