Hi, I have a question. Anyone noticed that http://www.o2academyislington.co.uk/ currently lists two acts on 12th Febuary? There's Utada and Ivyrise (whoever they are). Maybe they're planning move Hikki to a bigger venue? Brixton is already taken on 12th but Shepherd's Bush Empire with 2000+ capacity would be nice;)

Well spotting pompon , I will call ASAP.... try to find out if there are to be changes, one thing's for sure there is only room for one Artist, or it's all going to get rather crowded otherwise....

Good news if Hikki relocates... "Shepherd's Bush Empire with 2000+ capacity would be nice;)"...bring it on...

Ivyrise are playing at the O2 academy 2 islington which is the 250 capacity venue, whereas Utada is playing at the O2 academy islington which is the 800 capacity venue. :)

What a pitty, it was a perfect excuse to move to a bigger place;> But seriously, what was IDJ thinking reservig venues for the tour? They should get places big enough so casual listeners could buy the tickets on the concert day. Right now it's only a tour for die hard Hikki fans. Other people won't even get the chance to buy the tickets because they're all sold out before any real promotion started.

My lawyer friend says all these refund letters 'constitute a breech of contract' so maybe people can contact Trading Standards or something? I'm not normally one to condone something like this, but it would break my heart if i thought i was going then had that ripped away from me. (Again, sorry if you think im rubbing it in... I'm just trying to help peolpe get justice o.o")

And i look forward to meeting you too, Pips_Paradise!

You bet nexus, in fact rumour has it you will be leading the conga past the ?Angel? to the after show party? if I can get all the necessary info to loli-drops as promised (sorry loli)..by close of play today ..

Islington Council are responsible for the ticket fiasco using last minute health and safety risk assessment to limit the capability the O2 Islington Academy to below the accepted 800 limit, armed with the Respect and Responsibility ?Taking a Stand Against Anti-Social Behaviour guidelines see section 3 and 5..

From the draft below, Islington Council has used ?anti-social behaviour legislation? to justify a blanket 10pm entertainment curfew on all event at the O2 Academy (N1 center)?..

http://www.archive2.official-documents.co.uk/document/cm57/5778/5778.pdf

Ticket web/master have placed the blame firmly in Islington Councils lap, give them a call they deny it at first until you get through to the right department, ask pointedly ?why is there a blanket 10pm curfew on O2 Islington Academy???.Second ?why has the council carried out a health and safety risk assessment placing a limit below the 800 capacity? ?

I don't know why everyone wants them to move the gig to a bigger venue..?? This will be one of the most intimate gigs Hikki has ever done, or will probably ever do..we should be glad we get to see her in the flesh, especially as we will be so close in this small venue.

It's sad for the fans who couldn't get tickets (especially those who bought tickets but then recieved that email!) but we did know about this tour about 2 weeks before tickets went on sale, so surely that's plenty of time to prepare and make sure you were online at 9am on the 12th?

one thing i was thinking is that the venue is located in the n1 centre, so at least there will be shelter in the queue if it rains haha

I called up ticketweb yesterday to check if I had still had my tickets, since a lot of people that ordered through ticketweb got refunded, and the man on the phone confirmed that I still have my tickets.

Phew...that's a bit of a relief, but I won't be completely happy until I have them in my hands...:(
