Ya know, i was thinking about this after the concert, and just yesterday too.
Rizzo could of thrown in some Hikki Songs into his act, that might of made the crowed a little more responsive. i did enjoy what he was playing though :P

I would've enjoyed Mike's set more had two things occurred:

1) I had room to move around. Man, it got packed there on the floor, moreso than any other show I've been to in the House of Blues.

2) The music being played beforehand not been so similar. I'm not sure if what was being played before he came on was just the HoB piping in music or if it was being played from his set-up. I'm banking on it just being random stuff being put on for the crowd to listen to.

That being said, he did put on a good set, but it wasn't what the crowd was really looking forward to.

Still, despite the high amount of leg and back pain from standing for 3 1/2 hours, it was an amazing show. I was really looking forward to hopefully hearing Movin' On Without You, but you can't win all the time. At least we got Automatic, which was absolutely amazing with her backing band. Were they incredible or what? And I was quite pleased to be able to hear Me Muero, too.

hey all, i just posted this in another topic but i figured i'd follow up on my previous post...

it was so worth the trip to LV! here's my recording of the entire LV show:

i adjusted the EQ's since my recorder was in my chest pocket and some of the highs were a little muffled. i split all the tracks up and tagged them properly. i also put together some simple album artwork. i hope you all enjoy!

OMG dnutt thank you! You rock~

But Manji, I agree! I'd been saying that to my friend at the concert. I didn't really get why they would play those mainstream songs since for US, Hikki is kinda obscure so a lot of us don't even like that kind of music.

So who were you, two? I was kinda with Kimi's group haha (had a blue glowstick). I think of that whole group (which was like, ten peeps big), I was the closest to Hikki. :D
