you are one lucky b****rd!! sorry for the word. getting to see hikaru in concert and later backstage is just so friggin awesome!

i would die if it was me in your place.

anyway, congrats and we all hope you share with us your experience as much as possible. pictures and stories so we could feel as if we were there in the concert.

Oh man, I could not stop smiling... when picture time came, one of the staff was like "save it for the camera!" and i was like "i can't stop smiling!!!" hahah. No cameras were allowed so the radio station guys took the picture with their camera so I will be posting the picture when they send it to us. I hope I looked okay!

No they were not selling any merchandise, which was kind of disappointing.. because it would've been nice to have a t-shirt or something. But I somewhat had a feeling there would be none. I couldn't see any cameraman but I hope they were filming the concert! It would be awesome to see it on DVD.

I thought Miko Rizzo was going to play Dirty Desire but he didn't. Before Hikki sang this song, she told us it was going to be her next single... so its a clear sign that she will continue promoting. Which is awesome. Mike Rizzo played a lot of random songs... Some I didnt know and some mainstream stuff like Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga and the such... We did wait a looong time for her though. I guess it took some time getting everyone into the venue. I heard from security that it was all the way to the back by the door! Well, it was a sold out concert so what do you expect, right?

But it was well worth the wait. I'm not complaining about the setlist or anything. Just being able to see her live, singing songs is a dream come true.

i heard that Apple and Cinnamon was rearranged into a rockish song... is that true?

from what i remember, yes... and i guess the transition from devil inside, kremlin dusk, YMMWTBAM, the bitter end made it sound that way also.

I will try to answer your questions.....

....and respond to a couple of comments.

First the concert was not short. It was 20 songs and unlike an arena show, did not include dancing numbers by others, a great deal of speaking, and other time killing effort for wardrobe and other such changes.

For $30, it was an exceptional concert value. It was a awesome show for $75!

I applaud Hikki and her promoters for doing this tour in small venues.

Re the waiting, isn't that the choice of the attendee? I'm pretty sure those who waited and were 10-20 feet from one of the world's most popular pop artists would say the hours were worth it. Again kudo's to the promoters for doing a general admission show.

There was no video crew and only one news reporter/photographer that I am aware of. I do have a 2 minute video of "Passion" but don't know how to post it here...and I'm a little afraid to as well. In any case, it's really only a video that I would appreciate and you would all be disappointed.

This tour is just on a different level than typical tours of this popular a performer. That said, I'm very happy and fortunate that I got in.

Yeah that was the VIP section which was upstairs. I could've gone to that section because the radio contest winners were allowed also. But we had front row and that was the place to be!

While waiting in line for the concert, my friend said that there was a rumor Ayumi Hamasaki was there!? I found that hard to believe. But after viewing the pics, I noticed that the girl in picture #13 looks a lot like Ayumi Hamasaki!? Am I wrong?!

ha, I don't need seats. I was dancing!

no... Ayumi Hamasaki was not there. If she was, I'm sure it would've been obvious. In that small space, anyone would recognize her.
