I bet years from now artists will remake Hikki's songs and they will be instant number 1 hits.

The reason they wont play Hikki's music on the radio is because she is Japanese.
And because of that she'll never be big in America no matter how incredible her music is.

Case and point:

CBTM (which is great ballad in my opinion) gets no play on major radio stations and peaks for one week at a pathetic number 93 on the billboard charts.

Kesha releases what may be the worse pop song ever recorded (Tik Tok) and it instantly hits number 1.

If people can't see that there something seriously wrong here then I don't know what you people are smoking.

Dirty Desire is the perfect pop radio song, why are they not playing it?
If it was Kesha or Miley Cyrus singing the song it would be number 1 hit and you KNOW IT!

I do, however, completely agree with you that if any artist uses Utada's songs, they'll become instant #1s, especially if Lady GaGa etc. do cover it, which is a complete shame, as Utada definitely deserves more recognition than she actually has.

And yes, the fact that a totally generic, rip-off of Lady GaGa song named "Tik Tok" made it to number one is appalling... Ke$ha is not at all good, in any sense of the word!
