woah a_kikoo are the utada books interesting like does she say anything interesting that no one knows? lol

the book on the left "sen" is a collection of her online blogging put into one book.

the one on the right "ten" is a collection of all the interviews she's done in the past. along with a biography of her life and career she wrote herself. it also includes a lot of photos too which is pretty amazing to look at.

i've finished reading "ten". it is very interesting to read about her life from her view. it made me even love her more. and although i've read all her blogs online, i'm reading "sen" from the beginning. i'm about half way through. i learn more about her every time i read it.

I wish I could read Japanese

I'm a half Japanese living in Hawaii and I can only read up to basic kanji and I understand very little -_-

I was born in Japan, raised in Hawaii.
I used to speak Japanese to my parents at home. It was usually the basics though.
But I moved back to Japan right after I finished high school. Studied Japanese a little and worked there for 3 years so it helped a lot with my Japanese. I can't read every single kanji character but I can pretty much understand by sentence structure.

My collection consists of:
First Love (Japan Press)
DEEP RIVER (Japan First Press)
ULTRA BLUE (Japan Press)
Heart Station (Taiwan Press)
Exodus (US Version)
This Is The One (US Version)
Be My Last (Taiwan Press CD+DVD)
Heart Station/Stay Gold(Taiwan First Press with stickers)
Prisoner of Love (Taiwan Limited Edition CD+DVD)

9 items. Very small I am jealous of anyone who got her autograph...

^I made a mistake. My Ultra Blue is not first press. DEEP RIVER and Heart Station/Stay Gold are. For DEEP RIVER, the CD has Utada's picture on it instead of being just black. For Heart Station/Stay Gold you get stickers.

I would be SO delighted if the books were to be translated into English. I'm sure many of her fans who can't read Japanese are curious about the contents of the books.

I think she should write a biography in English instead of having the sen/ten books translated. It would be awesome reading it in English in her own original words.
