Pretty awesome.
Then again, 2009 was the year for "Utada". I'm happy for her.

Excellent. I really think she deserves to win, not just because she's my favorite artist EVER, but also for the fact that with "This is the One" she went back to her R&B roots, going with the genre that made her big in the first place...I thought it was a nice change after the last 3 albums being very electronic and experimental.

This is why I don't understand why so many people aren't fond of TiTO. They say that she was going too "different" despite the fact that she continued what she started with Precious and First Love...anyway, I love TiTO and truly think that Hikki deserves the nomination by a longshot.

That's great. Hope she wins.

I like TITO, I was a bit surprised when I first listened to it but it grew on me. Tracks like FIY, Me Muero, Apple and cinnamon, Crying like a child definitely belong to her list of top-quality titles.
However I miss the pure magic of the songwriting vein that is strong in both Deep River and Ultra-Blue :)
