Yeah the CGI was great. The facial expressions from each character was so well done. I think the story was better than Spirits Within and that's what made Final Fantasy fans favor Advent Children more. The little moogle that one little girl was holding was a nice little touch too.

aha that'll be the one winged angel theme you're refering to, well nobuo is fab shame bout him leaving square-enix. and yeah there are plently of little touches that made it ever true to FF7 like eg when Yuffie first appeared, she landed and showed signs of motion sickness just like how she got sick on the airship in the game

yeah true but something has really annoyed me. tends out they are making a full version where the scenes are longer and new script everything like that. advent children is really good the only thing thats annoyed me is the english voices and have u heard about the directors cut of advent chidlren calld final fantasy 7 advent children complete

i didn't really understand what was going on in the beginning. i played FF X, X-2 and IX but never VII.
i bought the dvd which has a documentary on it, but by the time i bought the dvd i saw the movie so much that i understood what was going on completely ^_^
but i loved the action, the cgi and the music the most. well, the story was good, but as i said before, you should've played the game first.
and @ cloudstrife5: i saw some vids on youtube and some scans of the movie where there were some parts that weren't in the movie itself. so there are two versions? 0.o all i can remember was that there was a single disc edition and a double disc edition.
edit: ow i just saw the scans and read the text, sorry. i wanna see that one too tough :D
