Yeah. The anime is really good. It's kinda set before the game......and Advent Children is set after it......

Thing is with the film, you really need to play the game, or at least know quite alot about the plot and characters to get into the film. I thought the storyline was amazing int he film, but that might be because I'd played the game and got to 'know' the characters (not literally....they're not real. O.o) So the storyline was a bit better to understand and enjoy!! :D

last order was a gd prequal but doesnt compare with the sequal Advent children the best part is the fight between sephiroth and cloud hands down lool
