If you don't listen to them already,chatmonchy.They aren't as multilayered pop as Koko and Miko but they are pop for the most part.Very good band.

Perfume. Through and through that is the only group I never get bored of. And if you get into Perfume now, it'll be in perfect timing as they are releasing a new single in April :) Other suggestions...ayaka and alan, both are beautiful voices. I also suggest Kimura Kaela. Her voice isn't that stellar but her music and lyrics are really something unique.

I don't listen to much Japanese music other than Utada though. |

I recommend
Shiina Ringo BoA SCANCH Versailles Beni they're all my favorites. Scanch is VERY hard to find but youtube has some of their videos. I love them. |

You need to listen to Otsuka Ai then. A little high pitch in voice but, her ballads are beautiful. Nakashima Mika isn't that bad of a choice either.
