Whenever someone says that an artist is "just like" Utada, I usually only take that with a grain of salt, because Utada is so versatile and unique nobody is really "just like" her.

I'd like to add ikimono-gakari and the brilliant green to my list. Can you tell I like female rockers?

Hello!Project is a guilty pleasure. Morning Musume released a good solid string of singles after their ninth album, except for their latest one. But their albums, with the exception of Platinum Disc 9, pretty much suck. Stick with the singles, specifically the A-sides.

Maki Goto last album in Hello!Project was good. Her Avex stuff is pretty sweet too.

JASMINE is pretty Hikki-ish...

I have to say...I've fallen into the trap of cutesy J-pop in the form of:

Reni Mimura. She's captured my attention. The woman is truly talented, though. I think that's what does it for me. She's currently in the US doing her Maid shows. I wanna see her. If not this month in NY...then I'll shoot for Otakon. (assuming I'll have a better financial circumstance by then.)

I wish there was a video clip of Naomi from NMH calling Travis an Otaku.It's the only way I can properly make the joke I wanted to.But I've recently been checking out the "quasi" lolis of Girl's Generation.I don't like anything other than that song "Gee",but those girls are adorable.

There's only like...one Girl's Generation (SNSD) song I can take and that's "Chocolate Love". That's far too cutesy. Korean Cutesy is on a whole other level of Japanese cutesy.

I think I've used the "C" word too much lately. Anyhow...I found out about her through someone I know, xD. I seriously just brushed her off at first. Then I gave her a second chance (I usually do that for artists) and she stuck.

You are mad cool, btw. Otaku, xD.

Edit: I never heard of NMH...guess I need to go look them up now, xD.
