Utada is a badass. The Kobe Bryant of J-pop. The Manny Pacquiao of J-pop. Not just j-pop, but also pop and r&b. She's got it all.
And i agree, she doesn't have the greatest voice in the world. But it's what she can do with what she has that makes her awesome. Robert Plant from Led Zepp didn't have a voice like andrea bocelli (sorry can't spell) but his sound and presence was just so god-like that it just worked! I am proud to be an Utada fan  |

Oh, so we share the same opinion. I too, thinks that Hikki isn't the greatest singer but she is a great artist. She herself is an art, she composes her songs in a unique way that nobody can.

Wow, very interesting review, and I agree with a lot of it.
See, this is the type of gem that gets buried under all the crap people waste their time talking about on here. |
