Hi,
Was wondering if anyone had any issues with copyright claims from the company Media Interactive Inc. on youtube. I had recorded Utada's interview at the Sephora event and uploaded it a few days later (it has been up for about 1.5 years now). Just today I got notice that part 5 of 5 was claimed by Media Interactive Inc. I find it strange because parts 1-4 featured some of her music and her interviews as well, and there were no copyright claims for that. She also wants her videos and songs on Youtube also, so they shouldn't be taking down her stuff.

Using the YouTube Copyright Dispute Process .....

Utada will probably be pissed off at Youtube. They shouldn't take down her videos, as they are all okay with her.

I wanted to re-watch the "This is Love" subbed video from Utada United 2006, and I got this message.
This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Record Industry Association of Japan. It was there yesterday, and now it's not even there. |

I'm no expert (or even have much knowledge of copyrights) but maybe it's the company who provided the equipment for the Sephora event. I don't think that's copyrighted material though...
