Doesn't "Going out with a bang" usually mean that you are finished?
Worst case scenario: She comes back in 3 years and formally announces her retirement after the birth of her second child. Even though she said she would come back in 2-5 years she announces to her fans that she just didn't have the heart to tell them the truth. Best case scenario: 2-5 years She's takes a break to write all new music and grow as a person on her own terms without deadlines and time limits from the record label. She releases a new album and it's so awesome and amazing that even her most hardcore fans will not believe their ears. Her 4 year old daughter can be heard singing back up vocals on 1 of the tracks, a sequel to Boku wa Kuma. Hikki releases 4 more albums in the next 11 years and formally retires in 2021. 2026 Baby Hikki is grown up now and she releases a bilingual album in Japan and US, it becomes a huge hit in the States and Japan and she becomes the first Asian to brekthrough in the US. Her music is a mix of ethereal pop, industrial heavy metal and traditional Japanese enka. The rest is history. |
