R&B vocalist JUJU has just finished up the recording for her new cover album, ?Request.?

The album will feature her CM song for Sony digital SLR cameras, ?Hello, Again~Mukashi Aru Basho?, which is a cover of an older My Little Lover song. She will also feature covers of MISIA?s ?Tsutsumi Komuyouni?,? Every Little Thing?s ?Time goes by,? Shiina Ringo?s ?Gibbs,? the brilliant green?s ?There will be love there -Ai no aru Basho-,? and many other popular J-pop songs for a total of 12 tracks. She has also amassed a large amount of producers for the album, such as Matsuura Akahisa, CHOKKAKU, Kameda Seiji (of Tokyo Jihen), Shimada Masanori, Sakamoto Masayuki, Jin Nakamura, Nakamura Hiroshi (i-dep/Sotte Bosse), and Takebe Satoshi. It will be very interesting to see how JUJU takes these J-pop classics and rearranges them into her own style.

To celebrate the release of the album, JUJU will be having a special live event on October 10th at the Tokyo Kokusai Forum Hall. On the days leading up to the event, you can visit JUJU?s official site and make requests on what songs you would like to hear her sing at the live. The requests don?t need to be from her ?request? album though, as she wants to sing a large variety of songs.
