Personally, I'm loving the sound. The song itself hasn't entirely caught on yet, but the ambient, jazzy music set with her breathy voice really works. I do feel the Japanese lyrics were a bit forced at times, but it could just be that I haven't adapted to the transition between the two languages in the song yet since I'm more accustomed to the original. Overall, it's definitely a direction I'm liking; I hope at least one of her new songs sounds something like this. Not that she really kept to the structure of ?dith Piaf's version, anyhow, so it might as well have been her own work (I give Hikki props for that; covers that sound the same as their subject material are boring, in my opinion).

Also, am I the only one here who would really like to get a vocal-less/instrumental version? <3
