Curiosity begs this question, how large was the attendence at these concerts?

that's a little harsh. I personally thought it was awesome.

I think both concerts were sold out pretty quickly

The arena holds 11,000 people and her tix were never technically "on sale"..If you wanted to buy tix you had to sign up for a lottery and then they randomly would choose who got to buy the tickets...Her concerts here have been like that for a while in order to give fans a fair chance to get tix...Out of my 10 friends who all signed up for tix, I was the only one who won so that should tell you a little bit about how many ppl signed up for the lottery..

Amaterasu, glad I'm not the only one who thinks the performance was horrid but at least she managed to pull off a few songs especially those at the end. IMHO, to not be fully ready on Wednesday is not an acceptable excuse. She should have rehearsed sufficiently before the whole thing. Oh wells, I'm happy that the one on 9th is much better, especially her new songs.

yeah I agree that the dec.8 concert wasn't that good, especially goodbye happiness, but I didn't really notice it until after I rewatched the ustream video because when I was watching her I was really too excited and did anybody notice that it was like she was gonna cry or something her eyes looked like tears were building up

At the concert her voice was really hard to hear over the music...So I didn't actually notice her shakey voice til I downloaded the MP3s after...

Well, I would not describe it as horrid. It wasn't horrid at all. Although, yes I'am aware that she fails on most of her performance. For the record, I've seen Wild Life 7x in a row. There are times that she hits this note, then after a while she could barely hit another note. I'm pretty sure this all started during UU06. The time when I think she struggles too much with her voice.

Wild Life performance of Hymne a l'amour, Stay Gold, Passion(although at the end part she slipped), First Love & Can't wait til' Christmas are good enough. I know for a fact that Hikki tried and gave her best for this concert. I couldn't say that she wasn't prepared for this day. She is, it's just that.. her voice is not in a good condition for most of us to tell.

And, yeah.. Hikki trying so hard to perform her songs on the 8th kinda suffered me. Specially when she sang Blue. She fails to reach the high notes. But I'am actually glad that she was giving her best at that time.

PS: I haven't downloaded the mp3-rip of the 9th performance due to a slow net connection, but maybe I could comment again if I'd hear it.

yeah, I notice that in alot of the concerts I've been to, when you're actually there with the crowd it's really hard to tell if the singer's voice is shaky or not plus the excitement of the people around gets you pumped up too much too hehe

Wouldn't deny that she really put effort into her performance. It was obvious so I'm giving her thumbs up for that. Despite the failure to hit notes and so on, it was really evident she was trying her best (and putting lots of emotions in it -- one of the main reasons why I love her as a musician) and that actually made me sad. Don't ask me why. I just don't know why. The whole hiatus, Wild-Life thing is making me emotional. Yes, I'm aware she still has a contract bla bla.

agreed..Plus she nailed it with "Across the Universe"...Her rendition of that song is so moving and absolutely gorgeous! It has become one of my favorite performances by her..

My thoughts exactly. The mere fact that she put on these concerts and gave it her all is good enough for me. Plus, it doesn't hurt that the songs that she was a bit 'off' on the first night, she was great on the second night. That said, I really can't wait for the release.
