i think the 'photo in the post thing' is the signature.
ok, so ill teach you how to use it.

first of go to this site and upload the pictue you want to use for your signature. (remember, it cant be too big!) http://www.imageshack.us/

next, go to your profile and find 'signature'!

on top of the 'signature', there will be 6 lil squares. go to the third one and paste the url of the pic once it has uploaded on the imageshack site. (there usually at the bottom, 'Hotlink for forums 1')

always attatch your signature and your set!!

if you have any problems than ill create a picture tutorial to help you out.

Also, not just the signature picture ... but pictures can be put into actual posts too ... to do that you just use the [img][/img] tags ... you simply put the url of the image you want to post between the img tags ...
ex. [img]http://www.com/someimage.jpg[/img]
