A Phone is a phone is a phone. I have an old cellular tri-mode phone, and the bills I paid were too high. Then Sprint and the place I bought it, Tandy/Radio Shack, billed me something like $500 or $700 because I did not finish my 1- or 2-year "service agreement." What a rip off. I use land lines and Yahoo Messenger occasionally for online calls. Every once in awhile, I plug in my Sprint telephone (I actually worked for a Director of that Company, in Burlington, MA) and use it for a few days as a handy dandy "What time is it?" aide. It used to make $10 out-of-network (Off-the-Grid) cell phone calls, but Sprint "fixed" the onboard software so that it does not even do that anymore. I coined the phrase, "Verizon" but not Sprint. However, I would not advise doing business with either of them. Although, my home service is Verizon right now. I tried a few others unhappily. Hey, speaking of Hikki's cell phone, as pictured, anybody have the Hikki number itself? I tried sending IM to her old AOL the other day, utada@aim.com, and it came back undeliverable. So much for IM.

Wow. I heard it was $500+ in the U.S. But obviously I don't live in the U.S. so I can't say I know for sure. But I want the iPhone! >_> It's not fair that they aren't selling it in Canada! Well Utada can easily afford the iPhone... but who knows, maybe she doesn't want to! =O

and speaking of phones

i wonder if hikki got one of those newiest phone called iphone omg that phone is so nice and small too but so expansive over here in U.S is 800 dollors plus! i want one so bad but its too expansive for me sigh... lolz but i wonder if she got one cuz she is rich and all and i think that phone was made in japan too

our phone in the philippines uses 3G.nokia phones are more hi-tech..i think they only have 1 nokia phone here in US..

my country also uses the 3G thing and i-mode connection, but i don't see them bringing in phones from japan

Well we cant really use that phone in many other countries cuz phones in japan use a 3G system not a SIM card system
