since we're talking about names....

umm...

i'm just wondering where utada's nickname "hikki" came from?!?..

who started calling her that?!..
& why hikki?!?!

i just read the "hikki" from an article, a fansite of hikki (i can't remember the address)....
i think it was the fans who name her that

i didn't know back then that it was utada's nickname...

i usually call her "utada" but when i read that article i started calling her "hikki"

im pretty sure Hikki is from 'Hikari', im not sure.
if not, then its prob just Hikaru/Hikki chan/san.

i had a hint that they've got it from hikaru too..


it's like mariah carey's nickname: 'mimi'....

well they actullay got it when she was in skool they couldnt say hikaru so they started callin her hikki aftter the word hickey and she didnt learn wat the word meant until later

Yeah I thought about that once before. I don't always call her Hikki like other fans do. I always tend to call her Utada for some reason even though it's like her last name. But still cute nickname.
