Interesting Rumor--> Stay Gold in America?

According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utada_Hikaru#.22Stay_Gold.22) Stay Gold "has been announced "Stay Gold" will be an image song for the United States release edition of Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone, which will be released in early 2008"

Please, are these rumors? There's no source and Hikki said nothing! Why is wikipedia lying?

to be honest I'm not sure if it is a lie or not, but why would she make a japanese song for an american show? Stay gold has not been released so its not on the japanese evangelion. Hikki can write in english better than me. Anyways I could understand it more on her american album than an american release of an anime. But I don't know whats true or false.

Also based on parts of the song that were in the CM, Stay Gold is not the kind of song that would fit in well with the themes of Evangelion.

If none of her sites confirmed it, then it's obviously not true. Even Utada-Online didn't mention anything about this, and I know that the site-owner over there get his facts real early.

Wikipedia can edited by ANYONE. Keep that in mind. Not every information on Wikipedia can be trusted.

yup *meow* is right. wikipedia cannot always be trusted. at least its facts about our hikaru-san is correct.

i think Beautiful world is still much appropriate for evangelion, even if it is release in the states.
