Is anyone here really good at photography?

I need some help with taking proper pictures

I have a friend who does it as a hobby. What's your question?

Umm... well this is a list of stuff I need help on:

Lighting

Angles

Flash/No Flash

Blurry Pictures

Red Eye (removing and preventing)

ISO speed

Dealing with moving objects in a picture

Shooting pictures of people. (cutting off part of a person vs not)


Generally this is more technical stuff that anything else.

so ^eh want to be a photographer, i also dreamed of being one myself, my father also wanted to become one but got no time or money to spare for it.

have you tried looking for photography forums? i think there alot in the net today about photography might anwsers your questions. and try to look for seminars too, it will really be a great help to you.

and talk about the pay for good pictures! you might earn while enjoying your hobby!

It's not that I want to become a master photographer.

I want to at least be able to take non-crappy pictures. (aka having passable photo taking skills)

about the red eye reduction part...

my camera has this setting that prevent the red eye to occur. what type of camera do you have? some cameras now adays can do alot of amazing stuffs, so most of the pics coming out of 'em are really quality stuffs.

i always follow this rule about lighting. don't shoot your photo against the light. as much as possible shoot with the light source behind you. works fine with me, watcha' think?

I dunno. I don't like to edit my pictures after I've taken them. And I can't really control a light source in many situations.

well lighting is very important in photography so i know how you feel.

lets leave it to others, they may know more about photography than we do.
