I like Green Day's song 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams', but I also like Hikki's version. (^w^)/

Which version do you like better?

Personally I like Utada's cover better. For some reason, the song doesn't seem right for a guy to sing. Not as much emotion either. But I don't like how Utada sounds like she's forcing all her notes either. :/

I agree that it sounds likes shes trying too hard. But I'll always pick her voice over Green Days probably no matter what. Someone on youtube commented she should have sund a different song of theirs instead, like Good Riddance. Which I agree with also.

when it comes to voice, i prefer hikki. however, her version of boulevard of broken dreams is kinda .. ahmmn? how should i say this? hmmn .. i can't say that her version is awkward but, i think she's trying too hard to make the song awesome, and .. ah .. nah .. err .. sorry, can't explain clearly

i have to admit that hikki's version was good but i gotta go with green days version...yea her voice is great but its the original i tend to favor mainly because its green days song...not many people can sing a song better than the makers

Hikki's version is undoubtedly superior. Whenever this song comes on the radio at work I'll shout "not this lousy Greenday version, what this song needs is a bit of Hikaru-san!" My colleagues think I'm strange "he's on about that japanese singer again".
