This is more for the ladies on the forum than anyone else (as I could care less if men think I smell bad): Do you find the scent of maple syrup unpleasant? I'm trying out an herbal supplement (fenugreek, it's in some types of curry). The thing is, I smell like maple syrup. I'm trying to figure out if this will negatively effect my social life. It's a pretty strong smell. I think it's noticable.

It's like a warm syrup in the morning kinda' smell, not a cafeteria pancakes syrup, if that makes a difference.

I don't really care, but it'd get on my nerves after a while probably.

I kinda cringe at the sight of maple syrup. xD Though, I wouldn't fuss much over the smell of it. But maybe there are other women who find the scent appealing. ^^

yeah I wouldn't care much I think. but if you feel that you yourself don't like then don't use it... but it's quite an individual thing :)

It wouldn't put me off. If the supplement is helping you, I guess keep taking it. But don't if it isn't helping you and you feel self conscious

Hmm, so sorta' middle of the road. I like maple syrup kinda', so I might as well keep taking it. I'll pretend it's someone else if questions are raised.

Well, some guy asked me to spot him at the gym, and he didn't seem to notice a smell when it should have been pouring out of me. As far as the herb working the way I want, I'm not sure. It's only four bucks a bottle, though, and completely harmless. No harm done if it doesn't work.
