Next Level is the tenth studio album (eleventh overall) by Japanese pop singer-songwriter Ayumi Hamasaki, to be released by Avex Trax on March 25, 2009 in Japan. It will be released as a CD only version, a CD+DVD version,and a limited edition 2CD+DVD version. Apart from that, it will be the first album by Ayumi Hamasaki to be released as a USB flash drive. The two GB flash drive will include the 13 songs of the album in MP3 format along with their lyric data, and six music videos in MP4 format. The flash drive edition is expected to be priced at a ?6800 (approximately USD$75).

Frickin' "Rule" is gonna the image song for that Craptastic "Dragonball Evolution" movie....WORLDWIDE!!!This could be one of 2 things....People hear and love the song enough for this album to net huge international sales or she'll get flamed here in the states along with that movie.

Maybe there is a small glimmer of hope that the movie might be good. I mean, it hasn't even been released yet and people assume it's already a pile of crap from a mile away. I can understand this.

Dragonball aside, RULE just kicks ass. Though it's not healthy to be listening to it constantly, it does cause ear fatigue. And I don't really pay attention to covers, but this cover is pretty psychedelic. And she's kinda taking it to the next level with the song titles. "Disco-munication"? And "Load of the Shugyo" is hard to decipher. I'm surprised that "Mirrorcle World" isn't in the tracklist and releasing the album on a USB drive is pretty out there. Yet, i'm curious to hear the new songs. Looking forward to the release.

I can't wait to get this album. Maybe people will still like this song even if the Dragonball movie sucks.

I'm fairly sure I will love this album. It seems like Ayu is going back to experimental electronica and such and that makes me one happy fan. The songs seems to be very close to her masterpiece works on I am... and Rainbow.

LOVE Next Level its just so different I love it. very experimental! I Love the booklet photos! So funky!
