Imogen Heap ("iMegaphone", "Speak for Yourself") announced back in June that her new album, titled "Ellipse", will be released on August 24th in the UK and August 25th in the United States and Canada. Heap, who has released two previous solo records along with one album ("Details", 2002) as half of the duo Frou Frou (a collaborative project between her and Guy Sigsworth), is known for her contributions to many movies and television shows such as The OC ("Speeding Cars", "Hide and Seek") and Heroes ("Not Now But Soon"). After nearly two years of work and several delays in the album's release, "Ellipse" will be comprised of 14 tracks and will be released in two forms: a standard edition including the basic CD packaging and a deluxe pack with instrumental versions of all the songs. The first single off of the album, "First Train Home" was released on July 14th.
