Close Encounters of the Famous Kind

Do you have any experiences where you came across anyone famous? From a distance, or online, an autograph, letter, or even a relative?

Diana Reyes (a Mexican singer) came to our restaraunt one Sunday morning, and I've seen Hank Williams Jr and Kid Rock filming a music video in downtown Nashville. And Loretta Lynn is my grandmother's first cousin.

I've never met him, but my sister is friends with Kris Allen's wife Katy (last year's American Idol winner) - they're both associated with the same college sorority.

So share your stories if you have any!

I was able to see the Wonder Girls in person after a Jonas Brothers concert and take pictures with them. ^_^ can't really say that i "met" them though =/

Ummm, just this morning I went to see MANNY PACQUIAO and his entourage working out. LOLz.

I've seen Hikki in person last year in Japan at a radio station.

I've also seen various Japanese actors/actresses such as Horikita Maki, Mukai Osamu, Yamamoto Yusuke, etc. because I got to be in a j-drama as an extra.

And bands such as Taking Back Sunday, The Summer Obsession, Boys Like Girls, etc.

The best one was Hikki, of course

I was an extra for his Rexona commercial. The recent one in the Philippines.

You guys are so amazingly lucky! I got to hang out in a parking lot with In This Moment (a great female-fronted metal band) in Fayetteville. My boyfriend at the time was playing at the same venue they were. Maria is awesome. She has this huge bellowing voice on stage that turns into this sweet, teeny tiny one as soon as she's speaking regularly. The guys were all awesome, too. Jesse is a mess (in a good way) and Chris is just amazing.
