Hi. I am new and enjoy Utada Hikaru's music and celebrity, so of course enjoy this UtadaNet website. Her new songs, Beautiful World in the Far East (from myself and New York Coast) and the new Easy Breezy out of Universal - International in Los Angeles, CA demonstrate her incredibly beautiful range and quality as a wonderfully talented musical recording Artist. I think of Music Videos as small movies or films, and her Husband was so very talented at making Music Videos "Traveling" and "Sakura Drops" with her, that I was very sorry to hear of their recent parting of ways. After divorce, which I went through myself, one should not rush back into a serious relationship. Rather, a newly divorced person should get to know themselves and their world better, and date others appropriately for a time, until good judgment and perspective return. Time heals wounded hearts, but a first love lost is always missed, I think. I worry and wonder about the effects of sadness on such a talented artist, especially having also moved from Japan to Los Angeles recently? Too many changes in one year of life can be harmfully stressful. I hope Hikki and her Family takes good care of themselves. Personally, not knowing either spouse personally, I have a hope that maybe Hikaru and her former Husband will find each other again, either personally or artistically. Her career is just starting in the United States, and she is a wonderful and trendsetting addition here, but I hope it did not cost her too much to come here. Maybe her Husband can come to America with her? And all the crews that made those wonderful Music Videos? Film artistry is an ensemble effort. Matt Damon said recently on American Television, that beginning Actors should look at their budding careers as "just one long camp out." That sounds too itinerant, disconnected, and rootless for myself, or for a Japanese American like Hikki. I hope she is not lonely in America.
