why not effective?

its a good art for self defense. goes with the saying...

"the bigger they are, the harder they fall"

imagine bringing down an opponent bigger than yourself. thats effective for me.

muay thai totally beats capoiera aijin...capoiera looks alot like break dancing to me...like on the protector...the guy was like puttting stuff you'd see a break dancer do to kick and flip by tony jaa..then thats when tony jaa started to bust out that muay thai craziness he has...
