I enjoy reading Friedrich Nietzche (although its not poetry).

He seems rather complex but actually his works are comprehensible.
He digs deep into our conscience and makes us question ourselves.

Not clear on Hikki's interest in romanticism that supposedly inspired Edgar Allan Poe's painfully deliberate style.

Maybe that's actually it, the unexplained bleakness found in Romanticist literature?

I tried reading The Raven.
but I don't quite understand =.=

The Ego

Imagining the infinite number of conscious entities
Each one observing a different world
But their worlds will become similar
As most will merge into others

Music and Lyrics

When I first meet a song
its melody turns me on
Would I care 'bout her lyrics?
it passes right by my ears

Her do-re-mi's enchant me
she proudly flaunts her V

Exposing her B, C, P and G's
it is desperate for my fingers

It utters giberrish
they clog up my ears
I hose it down with Metal
and see sparks flicker

I increase the pressure
pinpointing the glint

A lightning spear taps my spine
Forgotten lyrics blow me down
excruciating pricks inching in
Every 3 a cluster bomb orgasm

A true beauty pops out before me
Her shine blinds this ignorant eye
It cannot function in this reality
I let it sleep in darkness

The muse does not stay
Nor does she linger
She has to go in 3 minutes

I let her fly

Since she came out with five new songs, I wrote one more poem with the five titles. I did it quickly so it's nothing special

To The World -

Baby, if you could Show Me Love (Not A Dream,)
I could sing you a Song Of Love
But I Can't Wait Till Christmas to see if you're the one
I'll cry "Goodbye, Happiness" as the Storm Goddess carries my heart into the sea.

BEDTIME STORIES

once upon a
time, you were my
favorite dream, a story both
beautiful and brief.

in the night,
the circle of
your arms lulled
me comfortably,
and your touch
spoke safety.

the next morning
told a different tale.

separated indefinitely
from your warmth, i
have turned to
an unsatisfying sun.

time will never
turn back to retrieve
the fantasy i left behind.

i still have to hope
that waking up
was a happier
way to end.

I think this poem didn't turn out as well becuase I had a hard time fitting the rest of the song titles in. This one is supposed to come before the last one hence the titles and the last line in the last stanza hints at that as well.

Microphones ~From the Soul~

I fell into a Sweet Trap called First Love
Soon after Jumping To Conclusions I was caught
An Indescribable Feeling englulfed me, binding me to a burning ember

The Time Limit to Play Ball was set
But to you it was a meaningless, Fake "I Love You"
And my heart was plungged into a Deep River

I yearned for Another Chance to Be Happy
So I took a Sea Route to a world beyond my own
But every sign read "Kiss and Cry"
And demons stood taunting me, promising me to Never Let Go

I want to tell you the truth but Can You Keep A Secret?
I wanted to keep loving you
I put on a pair of Sunglasses to shield my eyes from the Light
My love, I had no intent to Kick It Away
How I wanted to be like Bonnie and Clyde
Silently wishing In My Room

Drearily walking through these cold Tokyo Nights
I've found no salvation in anything but sleep
Now I Am A Bear hibernating through an endless blizzard
Hoping that I will wake A.S.A.P. to a Beautiful World
A world full of Cherryblossom Drops filling the morning air
Only to ride that Rainbow-colored Bus back to you, my foolish addiction

Heart Station -

I get the news of your departure
It looks as though the weather is in your favor
But the outcome is still uncertain

Running so fast, my chest begins to burn
The sky begins to weep and I come to a stop
There is nothing I can do now
In reality, there never was
All I can do is see you off
And wish you the best

Lost in my thoughts, wandering almost aimlessly
Black billowing smoke
The roaring beast
It seems I have arrived

The clock strikes ten and the usher calls
?All aboard!?
The crowd lessens and there you are, your foot in the door
Our eyes meet and I slowly make my way to you
You begin telling me of that person
Telling me about your love for them
Telling me with an innocent, childlike smile
My chest burns again and I hold back the rain
I wear a faint smile and you tell me it?s time
That person is waiting
The one who has your heart

But before you go, let me tell you one thing
Just one ?simple? thing
It?s now or never

First a whisper

Of course you did not hear so this time with heart

But the creature roars again
And my sorrowful words are drowned out
