Yeh, I just threw this together in about 10 min on Photoshop. I cropped it to be square and then played around with font arrangements. I might add more. I really think the cover is disappointing! Hopefully IDJ changes it.

Sorry that's the biggest one I have since I just used the profile image from Utada.jp

I just did the 3rd one to show what a big difference a change in font would do. The font is really throwing everything off and it makes the album look elementary. Definitely not the standard that Utada's music is at.

seraphim - they're cool :) much better then the original... the font is horrible...as you all said, looks cheap

actually, I'm disappointed with most of the covers from artists I like, but yeah, whatever...the music is more important :)

Seraphim - may I have a large image of your first cover? I'll likely slip that on top of her album cover instead.

I've emailed IDJ about the covers, but I doubt that aught will be done so close to the release date. Here's to hope, however.

Good ol' Helvetica...I made these in like 10 minutes. It's not hard...I don't get how experienced recording marketing people allow covers like that to pass into the actual market... But Utada has had other bad font cover arts (Dareka, Prisoner of Love)





These are amazing covers, good job! that font on the JP version is terrible, I thought I'd seen the end of it with CBTM...maybe the US version will be better???

I love the covers you made Seraphim. I love the first one the most. They really should come up with a cover wherein they know that it's really pleasing to the American market. Even 10% of the cover affects the sales too.
