The only thing I don't like about the article is that it's pitting Utada and BoA against each other. Hello, tokenism! (Google about Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell to see the ugliness of that.) The U.S. market is massive; there's room for both of them to succeed and, ideally, they both will. I'm glad neither of them are playing that game, but I can't say much for the fanbases...
