I kind of like her. Some of her songs are way too commercial for me (Avex, so...) but she does have some great ones. Her vocals are quite spectacular especially when she sings Chinese tunes !!

alan's new album has leaked out! I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a download link at this site so I wont. But everyone should listen and buy a copy! She's an amazing artist!

After watch the PV well.... all i can say the PV look great very artistic , her wardrobe very nice black and white ....i'm referring to good and bad , yin and yang.

But she still don't push the best of her, she have a beautiful voice ,i think she can do more to explore it .

^You should search the interenet. the pv should be out there :) maybe she did loose weight. I cant really tell.

Yes, although alan's main strength is singing ballads, she does have a couple of nice non ballad songs, which include Sora Uta, Kaze no Tegami, and Sakura Modern (B-side to the Ashita e no Sanka single) and BRAVE from her album Voice of EARTH. I dont really consider Gunjou no Tani a ballad either...its more rock to me...^^

wow, i like her voice. i think it's beautiful. if she's restricted to only ballads, then that's better for me.
she's gorgeous, as well. really, i'm interested in looking into more of her stuff now. thanks :)

Mika Nakashima? I like Mika, even though I haven't listened to her since her "Yes" album was released. I remember it having a slight gospel, jazz and reggae sound to it. And I loved it. It's been a longer time since I listened to her earlier works.

But a lot of Asian ballads are boring, unless there is something rather captivating and unique about it.


I wasn't following Mika when it happened but she got her first #1 album in November.Voice wasn't too shabby but it had a lot of previously released songs.
