I arrived fashionably late of course and the staff were eager to let me in and escort me to the very front of the crowd because they were intimidated by my awesomeness. When Utada appeared on stage she immediately met my gaze, because she was struck by my eyes that are perfect slits that are flat lines, because I am so deliberately bred to be pure genetically Japanese that my blood is a nice shade of aqua blue.

While everyone else in the crowd were shouting like the crazed ape wannabe Japanese gaijins they are, I merely yelled out (in perfect Japanese which I can't reproduce here because this "Utada" website--- "Utada" in quotes because a REAL Utada messageboard would take Japanese characters sheesh :rolls eyes x10:) "Be my concubine!" and she replied, "Oh yes I would love to!"

Everyone in the crowd loved me and I chatted with them but they were too dumb to realize that I was just humoring them because it's fun to exploit the stupidity of white, black, and Korean wannabe Japanese gaijins (I mean really the white people should all be at a Garth Brooks concert, the black people should be watching 50 Cent and the Koreans be saluting Kim Jong Il am I right? Am I right?).

I drank a small shot of Smirnoff ice and I was TOTALLY wasted, seriously!

I was already waiting in Utada's hotel room when she arrived, and when I unzipped my pants she was all too eager to autograph my 12-inch beer-can thick penis, but not before giving me a meticulous handjob! All in the name of glorious Nippon!

HEY GUYS WHY ARE YOU OFFENDED IT MUST BE BECAUSE YOU ARE FILTHY KOREAN GAIJINS THAT MUST BE IT

So...much....win.

I guess Mr. Heavenly is completely entitled to his own opinion but you've definitely offended many people on this board (considering the amount of Non-Japanese here). On the other hand, I'm really jealous of you meeting her in person and having her sign your autograph.

Okay, let me get back to what I was talking about. Personally, I think there's absolutely nothing wrong with trying to be Japanese wannabes. These particular group that you despise so much are just appreciating the Japanese music, in other words, the culture itself. They were out there having fun, that's all that matters. Actually, they don't even give a damn about you who thinks they're such pests so go ahead hating them, you'll gain great out of this. In lieu of that, I'd suggest you be a bit more open minded?

No problems for me.... I gave my anger management bullsh*t button a serious working over last night....I am now looking forward to Utada double header in London refreshed...

http://www.paramountzone.com/bullshit-button.htm

I am not sure Scott from early reports it was in fact a Belgian Trappist Westvleteren 12 in can protruding from his shorts, quite rare in the US, Utada just released the ring pull and went on her way ...giggling...

First of all, obvious troll is obvious.

Second of all, I can see what you mean about people stealing your culture, or feeling that you've been culturally exploited; I'm Native American, it happens to me all the time. I think people who have no definitive culture have a hard time understanding what it's like to walk around seeing your language, religious practices, spiritual symbolism and whatnot utilized, possibly even corrupted, by people who understand them little to none- even if they THINK they do. So, I sympathize. That being said, your tone and the basic gesture of your argument suggest to me that you aren't so much concerned with the socio-political consequences of this sort of exploitation as you are affronted by the fact that anyone would presume to indulge in a bit of education surrounding your culture and people. There IS a difference between the two (education and exploitation, that is) but it takes a keen eye to discern them and it's my opinion that you haven't quite developed that capacity yet. Surely some people have tried to presumptuously adapt themselves into Asian cultures- certainly not Japanese alone- but there are also people who are genuinely interested in understanding said cultures on a deeper level; which first and foremost requires an acceptance of the fact that they will never, ever be a member of it.

Third, I watch anime. Anime is licensed out to American distributors BY Japanese companies for English-speaking viewers to enjoy. I think Japanese is a beautiful language to hear spoken; I think the same of Russian and French (as does Hikki, she loves French, even used it in her song "Boku Wa Kuma", but she has admitted publicly that she knows very little, so does that make her a French wannabe?). However, I do not have any misconceptions that I AM Japanese, nor would I WANT to be Japanese. I love who I am, as I am, and I have no intention of stealing your culture or pretending I know more about it than any given Japanese person would.

Now if the Japanese would kindly stop hawking on Native imagery and rooting for stereotypical American sports teams that use racist Native mascots for their own moronic entertainment, we might be on even turf. Get back to me when you've fixed your own culture, please.

I'm a newbie and it's not my place.....but any moderator of any board would have deleted this thread and given the poster at least a 2 week vacation from the board.

Again, I'm a newbie but love your site enough to want to suggest you act.

It's okay, I think you're a wannabe American. There's no English (or "mutt" or "American") listed in your list of ancestry, so the mere fact you live in the US (or if you don't, you certainly picked a very US city to see Utada in), speak English and probably watch American TV and eat at American restaurants, you disgust me.

Then again, the fact Utada was born (and raised, I think?) in the USA and only went to Japan for a record contract (since her American debut wasn't all that noticed) probably makes her a wannabe Japanese, too, except she's Japanese. A conundrum if any there was one. Or is she a wannabe American because she made money from Japanese people in the Japanese music industry and now she's trying to break through in the states (for her third English album?). Gosh!

Anyway, since you're offended by people interested in Japanese culture then you should certainly understand why 100% "American" folk are offended by you coming to a US-based website where American is the chosen language of communication.

Shouldn't you go and like... enjoy pure Japanese? I mean, not like someone who was born or spent much of their life here in the USA. Hm. Well... BoA is Korean, Mai Kuraki has an English album... I guess you could try Namaki Tami - except she uses some old English lullaby/children's songs in some of her music. This is tough... Koda Kumi? Oh, she released some English music, too!

Drat.

How about the culture itself? Well, it seems Asian artists love to employ bad English in their music. Scratch that. Asia employs bad English everywhere. Not even your own culture likes your own culture enough to stick to it. :(

I'm sure there's a temple somewhere that is still pure. I'd help you find it but then I'd be a wannabe Japanese for knowing about it.

It was good to see many Japanese people and annoying to see the wannabe Japanese white and black kids.

I don't drink alcohol but I drank and got a little drunk.
My friends said I was extra crazy and funny because I talked to everyone around me.
I'm usually shy but when the few rare times I drink I get drunk easily.
I drank barely 1/4 a glass of Long Island and I was already buzzed

During the concert when it was real quiet after she finished a song I yelled out, kekkon shite (I just realized this "utada" website doesn't take japanese characters :rolling eyes: means, "Will you marry me?" in English. She heard me and looked at me. She translated to the crowd what I said in Japanese and she jokingly responded, "Hmm, that's a really tough decision, I can't give you an answer right now".

I met her after the concert at her hotel and she autographed my poster!

I really enjoyed talking to this Japanese girl who lives near me. We spoke in Japanese and we both agree that wannabe Japanese kids who watch anime' and try so hard to act and look Japanese are highlly annoying.

DUDE YOU WERE RIGHT BEHIND ME! it was funny cuz i kept looking back at you! you were really cracking me up! i had a blue shirt on and my hair is really curly plus im half black nd white and yes i do speak japanese so when you said that i was like "wait no she is mine!" lol
