Supposedly they do. My dad went there to shop with friends about a month ago(they're actually going again for memorial day weekend) and my dad is really good friends with both oriental supermarket shop owners here in town and they all go to Chicago every Tuesday(the day shipment comes in) in the Korean district to get food, videos, etc. I've been to Chicago a bunch, but never noticed it because I was young, but dad said Koreatown this, Koreatown that so who am I to argue?

Thanks for the concern guys
I think he had food poisoning. But he felt a lot better after sleeping and getting everything out of his system (sorry, tmo...) We went downtown later on in the day and went to the casino for a bit. Heading home tomorrow morning, overall it was a nice vacation. Kayoko - They have a Koreatown in Chicago? I didn't know that. I heard of Chinatown and Little Italy though. |

But yea my parents are planning a trip to Chicago for the summer. Apparently my dad and mom hit up “the windy city” not too long ago on a weekend. They want to go back to shop. My dad is big on speaking Korean to the general public so the Koreatown is where they went last time, bringing back tons of goodies. Again once more they say and I'm totally down for it. It'll be nice to go to a bigger, busier city for once. |

today is our last day of vacation. we're in vegas right now but my husband's sick since last night. he can't eat or walk around too much so we cant do anything
 chicago was awesome though. and it was very cold. but i had fun hanging out with close friends and my brother who flew out from japan. i also got to see a lot of places and things. |
