For the low notes I'd say Flavor of life ballad version, the low part is really low for a girl.
and for high notes I think the highest note she hits is in can you keep a secret the hoowwoooaah part lol
*edit* actually I think addicted to you or BLUE is a better example of high notes..

Yes! Those are perfect! I think One Night Magic would be a great addition to the list too.

I'm having trouble with some of the low notes but I'll keep looking. The problem I am finding is how am I supposed to tell what note she is singing to find the range?

I am not ear trained to be able to do that.

To help with that, I'd suggest searching for this video on youtube about Lady Gaga. It's short clips that demonstrates her octave range and such. You could use that to compare with Utada's voice to see which note she is hitting. Or, you could see if there's a website that has audio examples of the octaves.

That is a great idea!

I'll go look for it.

If you're looking to find her highest pitch, listen to:
-"Wait & See"
-"Time Limit"
-"This One(Crying Like A Child)"

In "Wait & See", the highest vocal is at the beginning when her voice fuses with the guitar and right before the bridge (I think that's what it's called). And in "Time Limit", it's before the dance break. In "This One(Crying Like A Child)", it's during the bridge. When she's singing, "A hundred .jpeg files filling up my hard drive.." the vocal branches off of "drive" and begins to get higher.

For her lowest range, try her English work. Most of it is in a lower tone than her Japanese. A good example would be "Devil Inside" & "Hotel Lobby".

Hopefully this helps you on what you're trying to do.

BLUE!!! It's a wonderful song, and so so beautiful. Prisoner of Love is vocally amazing too.

This sort of has to do with my topic.

I have never heard Hikki's Octave range before. Does any think they know it? And if not, do you think you guys can help me find the highest and the lowest note she has ever used so we can find out :D.
