Discuss anything about Japanese music here.
Btw, anyone here ever heard of Sayuri Sugawara? She sang for FFXIII's theme and spring dorama - "Sunao ni Narenakute". |

Sayuri is a newcomer in the Jpop scene. I like her voice. It's a lullaby to me. Try her songs: "It's my life", "Eternal Love", "Kimi ga iru kara", "Sunao ni Narenakute" and "Kimi ni Okuru Uta". My favorites are "It's my life", "Eternal Love", "Kimi ni Okuru Uta" and "Sunao ni Narenakute".
YUI spazz? lol. Anyway, talk about YUI.. She's more into ballad lately, right? It wasn't bad at all though. I think it's still rock that fits her style. Btw, didn't knew that "Please Stay with Me" is an insert song in MatsuJun's Summer drama - "Natsu no Koi wa Nijiiro ni Kagayaku". I'm currently watching it now. I'm liking it Here's a link to Kimi ni Okuru Uta |

Has anyone noticed that there are a bunch of jpop singers going on a "hiatus"? Dir En Grey announced their hiatus, MEG, Utada, and a couple other people. I'm hoping thqt Koda Kumi doesn't decide to do so or else my jpop life is over!
On another note, I'm super excited for October 6. That's when Koda Kumi's Universe Tour is released. =D And in January/February/March Koda Kumi will most likely release a new album! |

Yea, I see that too. And Korean artists takes this as an opportunity. Oh, dang. But some are back, AQUA TIMEZ, UVERworld, Orange Range, TOKIO, Namie Amuro, etc. Still, Arashi tops them all. I like Arashi but not that of a fangirl.
Will Kumi tour America? Edit: NewS is back too. I heard GReeeN composed one or more of their songs this time? |

Yup, that's true. 2PM will be making their debut soon and 2NE1 next year. No, but I wish she would. She did perform a mini concert in 2005 in Texas. |

lol. I know what you mean. I kind of like Arashi but it's crazy that if they release something, even if there's someone better they kept topping the charts. Fangirls are freaky indeed. |

Talking about Visual Kei, i only knew Dir en Grey and Versailles. Actually i dont like Versailles vocalist voice :P maybe cus the music make me want to listen them once a while, yet after Versailles under major label their music a bit pop-ish.
Und the only Yui song i like is, ost of her movie (forgot the title) the sick girl who mustn't get sun light or she will die :P and on the ending Yui die huhuhuhu :P |

^ I like a lot of YUI songs. The one you're talking about is "Goodbye Days" from the movie "Taiyou no Uta/Song of the Sun". Erika Sawajiri acted on the series version.
From Visual Kei, I like SID, Janne da Arc and SuG |
